Alcoholocaust is a group of four rock and rollers looking to bring a smile to your face. Hailing from the great city of Boone, NC, we aim to melt some faces and drink some beer. Alcoholocaust started out as a short-lived, three-piece trio called Beer, Wine, and Cheese, which was made up of Bill, Skip, and Todd playing acoustics. They had one song, an anthem about the Boone Saloon, which is a local watering hole and restaurant located in historic downtown Boone, NC. After their one song only debut show, they decided it would be more fun to be loud and rock out, and called up Mike B. for the drumming duties. Going full out electric and heavy, the boys played a few shows around town, to a small but adoring fanbase. They also spent a good chunk of time polishing their sound in the studio, and the result was a mix of hard rock, hip-hop, and country, and displayed their various influences and talents. Their first CD “Drunk By Noon” is a perfect example of their drunken bar-rock sound, with another as-yet untitled disc worth of material that they will release whenever the hell they feel like it…
